Independent consumer guidance
iBill.pk helps readers reach official electricity-bill services and understand bill information. It is not a DISCO, regulator, payment service or official support channel. The owner and editor publishes under the pen name Idrees Khan.
Sources and scope
Regulatory explanations link to NEPRA decisions, notified schedules or consumer-service documents. Payment and service instructions link to the relevant provider. A decision date, notification date and billing application month can differ. Readers should use the document applicable to their own bill.
Worked examples are labelled as illustrative and are not customer records. Calculator results are estimates for the named tariff schedule; they do not establish account eligibility or replace an official bill. A portal availability check does not establish that every customer lookup will succeed.
Experience and editing
Personal observations must be identified as such and must describe the author's actual experience. We do not present invented customer records, testimonials or generated illustrations as evidence. Writing or software tools do not replace checking the underlying source or the editor's responsibility for published claims.
Dates and corrections
A publication date records the original article date; an update date records a substantive revision. Neither is a promise that a tariff remains applicable indefinitely. Substantial factual corrections should explain what changed. Content with no useful replacement is removed rather than sent to an unrelated topic.
The protected-tariff guide records a correction to its previous AC-registration explanation. During the September 2026 review, promotional article banners were withdrawn because some contained broad or undated claims that did not match the qualified article text. Articles now use text headings and a general site image for previews.
Advertising and links
iBill currently displays no advertisements. Bill-checking controls must only perform their stated function: opening the selected official service. They must not trigger advertising destinations, popunders or unrelated navigation. Any future advertising must be clearly labelled and separate from these controls.
Report a correction
Email [email protected] with the page URL, the statement concerned and a supporting official source where possible. Do not include a full bill, reference number, CNIC, address or payment details. For account-specific disputes, use your DISCO's official support channel.
